ETAP enables designers and engineers to conceptualize wind and solar collection systems, determine renewable energy penetration levels, and perform grid interconnection studies. ETAP PV Array is used to represent individual panels connected in series and parallel combinations with a grid tied inverter and represents blocks of PV power. In addition, ETAP includes simplified wind turbine models capable of analyzing the stability impact of large arrays of wind turbines with a single point of network interconnection.
